Riot Games’ new Belgian League of Legends league has secured its first two commercial sponsors in the form of German car marker Audi and gaming hardware brand OMEN by HP.
The new league, which is being run by Riot Games and events and broadcasting company 4Entertainment, will be sponsored by Audi and OMEN by HP for the duration of its first season.
Announced in November 2019, together with a new Dutch League, the Belgian League starts on 20th January, and is part of Riot’s European Regional Leagues (ERLs) initiative. The Belgian and Dutch leagues will still be jointly overseen by Riot, but both will operate as independent-run competitions feeding into the European Masters.
