Admiral Markets Group, which recently rebranded to Admirals, has appointed Victor Gherbovet as its Co-Chief Executive Officer, replacing Jens Chrzanowski from the apex position.
Gherbovet is a long-term employee of Admiral Markets, spending almost the last 13 years in several roles within the group. He joined the broker as the Director of its Romanian branch in 2008 and later became the ESEU General Manager.
Along with his new Co-Chief Executive role, Gherbovet will continue to sit on the Management Board of Estonia-based Admiral Markets Group AS, the company confirmed to FortuneZ. Chrzanowski will also continue his position on the board.
An Eventful Year for Admirals
The change in the management came when Admiral Markets markets rebranded itself to Admirals earlier this month. Furthermore, the broker made headlines recently as its 2020 yearly profits jumped 340 percent because of the retail trading rush.

We want to expand our success story and disrupt the FinTech world,” Gherbovet said in a statement shared with FortuneZ. “I am happy to be in a new position, sharing my learnings from the years I have been part of the Admirals. Gherbovet, in his early career, was the Key Account Manager at Asito Kapital between September of 2006 and May 2008. Before this, he was a Credit Officer at EXIMBANK-Gruppo Veneto Banca, his LinkedIn shows, joining in February of 2005.
