Online casino and bingo operator Gamesys has appointed Paul Troy of UK telecommunications company 02 as its first global director of brands.
According to the Marketing Magazine website, the appointment is part of Gamesys’ new international marketing strategy for its range of games.
Troy, who previously served as head of marketing and consumer strategy at 02, will oversee Gamesys’ portfolio of brands in his new role at the firm.
He will be responsible for brands such as Jackpotjoy, The Sun Bingo, CaesarsCasino.com and Virgin Games.
Troy, who only joined 02 in February last year, helped with the deployment of the telecommunications firm’s ‘Be More’ advertising campaign, which rolled out in the summer of 2013.
He has additionally held marketing roles with Barclaycard and Moneysupermarket.com.
“With the launch of the Virgin games brand in the US, it’s an exciting time to join Gamesys.com as it expands globally,” Troy said.
