Pala Interactive, the California-based venture set up by former bwin.party chief executive officer Jim Ryan and the Pala Band of Mission Indians, has selected online payment services company CAMS to provide age and ID verification for its entry into the US igaming market.
Under the deal, Pala Interactive will leverage CAMS’ various Know Your Customer and identification services in order to monitor player activity.
“It is the mission of Pala Interactive to provide the best possible gambling experience within the safest possible environment and we are pleased to select CAMS to help us accomplish our goal,” Ryan, who also serves as Pala Interactive’s chief executive officer, said.
Matthew Katz, chief executive officer of CAMS, added, “Pala Interactive’s decision to utilise the age and ID verification solutions of our product suite underscores Pala Interactive’s commitment toward providing a safe and secure online gambling environment and we are proud to be working with them.”
