A new UK mobile banking app Mode and Onfido, a global identity verification provider for everyday investors, store and manage BTC, have announced their partnership which will empower Mode’s mobile app to seamlessly verify as well as onboard UK and European citizens to the app.
Through the new association, Mode grows its system of financial innovation partners, each sharing Mode’s fundamental values of security, consistence, and technological innovation. By utilizing Onfido’s AI-empowered verification innovation, amid its clients’ onboarding and ‘KYC’ process, applicants just snap a picture of their govt. provided ID and a selfie; Onfido checks the ID appears to be veritable and matches it to the user’s face.
This guarantees the individual presenting the identity is its authentic proprietor and is truly present. Mode can check applications and users anytime, anywhere, with the most elevated level of consistence with Know Your Customer requirements.

In addition to identity verification, Mode has worked with Onfido to improve as well as automate one of the greatest torment points in FinTech: the location verification process. This will decrease the requirement for Mode users to explore entangled onboarding procedures.
