MGM Resorts International is official gaming partner of NFL team New York Jets.
MGM Resorts International has been announced as official gaming partner of the New York Jets.
In what is being touted as the most comprehensive gaming partnership in the NFL, the Jets signed a multi-year agreement with the Las Vegas-based global hospitality and entertainment company.
Under the terms of the agreement the Jets will promote MGM’s resorts and the Play MGM’s mobile and online platforms. There will also be hospitality and reward collaborations and MGM will gain access to the Jets’ 360 production studio.
Jim Murren, Chairman & CEO, MGM Resorts said:
“We look forward to working with the Jets to innovate gaming, increase our customer base through cross marketing opportunities and provide NFL fans with a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience.”
Whilst Neil Glat, New York Jets President commented:
“We are proud to partner with an iconic brand like MGM Resorts. This unique partnership also enables us to further engage our fans in the mobile and digital world.”
Though NFL rules don’t allow the advertising of sports betting sites, the agreement is a ‘gaming partnership’ rather than a sponsorship, so it is acceptable.
Earlier this week, MGM Resorts International became the first league-wide sports betting partner for the NHL.
