Shay and his brother Ron, together with Avi and Aharon Shaked founded 888 in 1997. Shay was a unique person. He was humble, caring and a good friend to those close to him. His spirit has a big part in the 888 DNA as we know it. It is a terrible loss to his family and friends and to the entire 888 family. May he rest in peace, and may his family find comfort during these difficult times”.
Shay had spent his time travelling the world with his family, visiting countries including Spain, Turkey, France and Switzerland to name a few. When he was not travelling, his family and him lived a life of service to their community, where they worked as volunteers to clean various cities in Israel.
