London-based esports organization Fnatic has announced the appointment of two new members to its leadership team. Patrick Foster will join Fnatic as its new chief financial officer, working to leverage the company’s recent crowdfunding campaign for a new phase of growth. The organization has also brought on Georgina Workman as its head of production to oversee the creative side of its business. Workman will oversee the company’s internal production studio dubbed Fnatic Studios and manage its content creation plans.
Foster joins Fnatic following six years as CFO and COO of car-sharing platform Drivy prior to its acquisition in 2019 by Getaround. Most recently with Getaround, Foster oversaw operations and business development teams for European markets.
Workman most recently served as head of production for short-term retail space marketplace Appear Here, having worked in the role for three years.
Last year, Fnatic raised $10M USD in an internal financing round before launching a crowd equity campaign which hit its goal of raising $1.32M within 70 minutes of going public.
