London-based esports organization EXCEL Esports has signed a supplier partnership agreement with fitness equipment company Eleiko.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Eleiko is now the “official fitness equipment supplier” of EXCEL’s League of Legends European Championship (LEC) team, and will supply a “selection of equipment” to the organization’s player facilities in Berlin.
The new deal dovetails with EXCEL’s mental and physical health program for players, which is headed up by the team’s head of performance Fabian Broich and performance manager Simon Bayer.
Earlier this month EXCEL partnered with Spanish confectionery company Perfetti van Melle’s Chupa Chups brand, naming it the “official candy partner” of the organization.
