Ex UFC Champion, Eddie “The Underground King Alvarez” has jumped on the bitcoin bandwagon. The former UFC star has made the decision to invest in the ever popular cryptocurrency.
Alvarez has chosen to invest in Bitcoin despite having no understanding or knowledge on the cryptocurrency. The decision to invest is seemingly credited to Ben Askren, a fellow MMA fighter and former olympic wrestler.
The Underground King took to Twitter to share his excitement saying “Alright @Benaskren I finally jumped in and grabbed 1 Bitcoin, I can’t sit on the sidelines any longer. You got me!!! I still have no clue what it’s all about but I’m in…you might have to coach me they this”.
Eddie currently fights in ONE Championship and has held titles such as UFC Lightweight Champion and Bellator Lightweight World Champion. He has also fought alongside “The Notorious” Conor McGregor.
