Esports event organiser ESL has rebranded itself, with a new logo, new colours, new typeface and more.
The company says its simpler, bolder branding will allow it to speak louder, and launched its new look with a glance back at the journey it has gone through over the past 19 years.
Announcing the rebranding, the company said:
“ESL was made for gamers by gamers. The same kind of creativity that goes into figuring out how to complete through levels and make game-changing plays online affects everything we do. We believe that creativity and the creators themselves should be enabled and celebrated just like the biggest victories of esport athletes.
“We created this new visual world to provide a better experience across the board for everyone we interact with.”
ESL says it will be updating all products over the coming months, so that all tournaments will benefit from the new look.
Along with the rebrand, new, simplified tier-levels have also been introduced, consisting of ‘Open’, ‘Challenger’, and ‘Master’.
The world’s biggest esports event organiser, ESL has been strengthening its business recently, renewing its existing partnership with online bookmakers Betway, expanding a streaming deal with Facebook, expanding a partnership with Paysafecard, extending a deal with Intel, and entering a licensing deal with new esports TV channel eSports1 – all within the last four weeks.
