David Beckham’s Guild Esports Makes Its Way Into Professional Rocket League

David Beckham‘s Guild eSports makes its way into Professional Rocket League. Co-owned by celebrity David Beckham, Guild Esports has announced its entry into the Professional Rocket League. The team will play in the RLCS X series, which has a new format that has been redesigned.

Guild Esports has its London, UK headquarters and announced its global launch in late June. They are building a talent pipeline focused on the “traditional academy model,” and will begin to scout FIFA, Fortnite and Rocket League talent. David Beckham’s ever-present enthusiasm for sport and talent development is undoubtedly what prompted him to invest in the company.

Beckham will have a hands-on involvement with the new Rocket League team according to a company announcement. He will educate players on Esports pressures, live a healthy lifestyle and deal with sports-related mental health issues. In turn, the former Manchester United player will guide the academy squad.
