Iain Rogers has stepped down from his role as Admiral Markets UK CEO, to be appointed as a director at Pepperstone, the FCA licensed Australian forex broker, FortuneZ has learned. According to information made public on his Linkedin profile, Mr. Rogers worked at FCA-licensed broker Admiral Markets UK for four years. It is still unknown to us who his successor will be.
Mr. Rogers joined the UK brokerage in 2013 as its compliance officer and MLRO for UK and Western Europe, a role he held up until 2015, when he was appointed CEO. FortuneZ has reached out to Mr. Rogers for a comment, and we will update the article when a reply is received.
Mr. Rogers has had a long career in the financial industry. Prior to his tenure at Admiral Markets UK, he had stints as senior sales trader at Enigma Securities, a senior market maker at Matrix Investment Banking Division and a senior equity execution and compliance consultant at Schneider Trading Associations Limited, all of these between 2009 and 2013.
Before 2009, he held the role of director and compliance officer at Lite Financial Limited for 5 years. Prior to this role, he was an HSBC Investment Bank market maker beginning 1995. He started his career as early as 1990 as a market maker for SG Warburg Securities.
