Elray Gaming, the online gaming and turnkey solution subsidiary of Elray Resources Incorporated, has begun beta testing of its new Bitcoin Casino, an online platform that uses the popular digital currency.
Integrated into Elray’s already-developed online gaming casino, the new Bitcoin platform will incorporate games such as poker, dice, sports, and virtual horseracing.
Elray said that the finished platform is testing the back-end Bitcoin processing system in order to provide customers with a ‘trusted and proven’ product.
The platform will utilise a hot wallet payment feature that will allow customers to immediately withdraw small amounts of Bitcoins, something Elray said would reduce risks.
Elray said that it is also considering integrating this Bitcoin payment method for the development of its virtual horseracing platform, for which it recently signed a licensing agreement with BetTek to develop.
In addition, the firm said it may also leverage its experience in binary option trading to allow users to trade binary options on the daily spot prices of Bitcoins.
Brian Goodman, Elray’s chief executive officer, has highlighted Bitcoin as a key growth area, with the digital currency having proved to be increasingly popular in recent years.
“Bitcoin is a unique opportunity and is gaining more and more momentum and traction, even within the physical world; it is now possible to actually spend Bitcoins without exchanging them for traditional currency,” Goodman said.
“I expect more and more demand and internet usage of the Bitcoin and as such we are developing unique products that will allow online operators of gaming products to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment.”
