Social-casino developer Bee Cave Games has announced it is to expand its services into slot games and real-money gambling.
According to the Venturebeat.com website, Bee Cave Games is working with online gambling platform Betable to offer real-money gaming to customers in the UK.
Betable will handle all money-changing and legal issues linked to operating an online casino, which will enable Bee Cave to focus on creating games.
“I’m really excited to take what we learned in the play-money space and to apply it to the real-money space,” Bee Cave Games’ chief operating officer, Jeremy Strauser, said. “We think both sides are very complementary and will accelerate creating better experiences for each type.”
In addition, the firm will also add three slot titles to its existing Blackjack Casino, which is available on Facebook and mobile. The trio of new titles comprises Creatures of Wonder, Treasure of the Tides, and Wilderness Jackpot.
The slot titles will focus on social multi-player with players being matched to four other live games when entering a slots game. The success of these players will then spill over into the other player’s game.
“As far as we can tell, no one else does this in the social-casino games. We think this is important to make people feel like they are really on a casino floor,” Strauser added.
Bee Cave also confirmed that the random-number generator within its slots titles, as well as the shuffle programme in its blackjack game, had also been approved by Gaming Labourites International.
Strauser added, “[Getting certified] is something that most people in the social-play money side don’t ever do. It’s not required, and it might seem like a red herring, but for us it’s really important to us.”
