After passing legislation a little over a year ago that legalised intra-state online gambling, Delaware has now published regulations for administering the practice in the small eastern state.
Delaware is one of three states that have recently approved intra-state online gambling alongside Nevada and New Jersey with its centralised system due to be regulated by the Delaware State Lottery but operated by a third-party vendor.
Posted this week by the Delaware State Lottery, the regulations see individual online operators required to partner with one of the state’s three land-based casinos and permitted to offer games including blackjack, poker and slots.
The Delaware State Lottery revealed that it intends to accept public comment through to the end of the month while officials hope to begin offering online gambling before September 30.
