Bucks Gaming, a member of the NBA 2K League as an affiliate of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, announced that Kwik Trip and Sprite have signed on as official partners of the organization. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
According to the announcement, Kwik Trip, a chain of convenience stores headquartered in La Crosse, Wisconsin, will provide the team with Sprite brand beverages at its downtown performance center and will receive virtual courtside signage during all Bucks Gaming regular-season home games.
“Extending our Bucks team sponsorship into the esports space was intriguing,” said Mark Meisner, Director of Advertising & Marketing for Kwik Trip. “The explosion of esports provides a completely new platform in which to engage younger consumers who are typically tough to reach through traditional media channels. Our collaboration with Sprite will provide Kwik Trip guests with the opportunity to win incredible esports experiences throughout the season. We look forward to the partnership.”
Bucks Gaming fans will also have the chance to win a unique, behind-the-scenes trip to New York City for a regular-season Bucks Gaming game in July. While there, they’ll receive a VIP experience and meet Bucks Gaming players.
