GSN Games, a subsidiary of US cable television and direct satellite broadcaster Game Show Network (GSN), has announced the beta launch of GSN Cash Games, a mobile website it claims is the first to offer mobile-optimised cash tournaments to US players.
An extension of GSN Games’ cash tournament website WorldWinner.com, the new mobile website allows casual gamers to play skill games for real cash prizes on iOS and Android mobile devices.
The mobile Open Web site has been built using HTML5 and as created in partnership with Open Web technology company Bocoup. It will launch with cash games in Solitaire Rush, with tournaments in Wheel of Fortune and Catch-21 to follow shortly.
Players can opt to enter cash tournaments or compete in free, practice games when accessing the website on their mobile device. Users are able to select a tournament type based on the number of players, entry fee or cash prize amount.
In addition, the account screen allows players to make a deposit or withdraw cash winnings to a linked bank account. The user’s account profile, balance and preferences will also be connected across the desktop and mobile websites.
