Mobile transaction and authentication solutions provider XYverify has received approval from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to provide its geolocation verification services to casinos in the US state.
XYverify has become one of the first internet ancillary services provider to be approved in New Jersey.
The conditional waiver will allow XYverify to support licensed mobile casino operators in the regulated New Jersey market, which is due to open at the end of November.
The law requires verification that a customer looking to access an iGaming service is located in New Jersey before being allowed to access games. XYverify’s solutions will allow licensed operators in the US state to provide this verification.
XYverify will work with LocationSmart to offer carrier-secured network location services to gaming technology providers for real-time wagering approval.
These verification services determine a player’s location using Cell Tower Triangulation and Assisted-GPS technology to verify mobile device location matched to a postal address within a state.
XYverify has already been awarded a Class II licence by the Nevada Gaming Control Board for the already-regulated Nevada market.
