Binary options mobile betting platform XP Capital has gone live with identification verification firm real-time Netverify customer identification solution.
The solution allows customers to scan their identification documents using a web or mobile camera, the credentials are then checked and verified by Jumio’s software to ensure clients are who they say they are and meet minimum age requirements.
The technology enables gamers to use a range of different documents and prevents typing mistakes thus reducing drop off rates.
“We are seeing more and more clients from regulated sectors such as financial services and online gaming turning to Jumio,” said Bjorn Evers from Jumio.
“Jumio’s Netverify delivers a new innovative approach to customer verification and helps companies identify and welcome customers from all over the globe.”
XP Capital launched earlier this month with the goal of making financial betting more accessible to mainstream global igaming audiences. Designed especially for mobile devices, the service features a customisable interface that allows users to design their own screen layout with personalised charts, prices and positions.
“XP Capital is all about simplifying financial betting and every aspect of our user interface, deposit process and customer acquisition process supports the XP Capital brand,” said Roman Gromov, CEO for XP Capital.
“We wanted a verification provider that can quickly and simply verify customers from all over the world and Jumio came highly recommended. Jumio’s innovative approach to customer identification simplifies the customer account creation process.”
