Winamax, the online poker market leader in France, is hoping to attract further international players by launching a German language offering.
The Paris-based operator was already one of the main poker sites prior to the sector being regulated in 2010 and is market leader for cash games in France, while world leader PokerStars is the tournament leader in the country.
Winamax has always been proactive at attracting and accepting non-French players to its tables, which is legal under French igaming regulation, while many of its competitors have stuck to targeting only French nationals.
