Spanish esports organisation Vodafone Giants has become the first European esports brand to enter a global partnership with iconic sports brand Nike.
The partnership launches today (20th Jan.), with the release of a co-branded apparel collection, though at the time of writing no further details about the deal are currently known.
Nike is expanding its involvement in esports, having announced a significant deal with South Korean organisation T1 only last week. That will see the sports giant provide not just apparel, but also high-tech support for training facilities and programs.
The company also has multi-year agreements in place with LPL in China, and FURIA in Brazil.
In addition to its mobile telecoms title sponsor, Vodafone, the Giants also have commercial deals in place with Drift Gaming, Malaga, Only the Brave, Ozone Gaming Gear and VS Gamers.
