Major online casino operator Videoslots has adopted Verisec’s Freja eID tool across the Nordic markets.

The company says the Freja eID app goes above and beyond the legal verification requirements for gambling brands in the region, whilst also making the sign-up process easier for new players, being an entirely digital process.

The app checks players’ ages and locations, along with handling other sensitive data for the operator, and provides players with a complete overview of which information is store and their own user history.

Freja eID also takes care of usage of personal data at Videoslots.com as a third party, presenting all terms clearly and making it easy for users to give consent.
