Online gaming operator Unibet Group has confirmed the appointment of Peter Alling as Nordic public affairs manager and Robert Smith as head of new channels, according to the Casinos-online.co.uk website.
Alling is a former chief operating officer of the Swedish gambling regulator, Lotteriinspektionen.
He has spent a number of years in the Nordic gaming industry, having held various roles at the Swedish government, Gaming Board for Sweden and Swedish Gambling Authority.
In addition to Alling’s appointment, Smith has also agreed to assume the newly-created role of head of new channels.
In his new position, Smith will be responsible for the development of Unibet’s mobile, tablet and television divisions.
Smith will also bring plenty of experience to Unibet, having previously served as head of technology and infrastructure at spreadbetting firm ETX Capital.
