Nevada-based gaming company Ultimate Gaming has completed a 30-day trial of Ultimate Poker, the first fully-legal online gambling website to be launched in the US.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board has recommended approval for the firm to offer real-money gambling services via its UltimateGaming.com website, according to Vegasinc.
The regulator confirmed that the company adhered to the requirements and guidelines set by the Control Board.
In April, Ultimate Gaming, which is majority owned by Las Vegas-based Station Casinos, became the first company to offer fully-legal online poker in the US.
Tobin Prior, Ultimate Gaming’s Chief Executive, said, “The Nevada Gaming Control Board has set regulatory requirements for online poker at the highest level. We are thrilled that our product is the first to not only meet these standards, but exceed them.”
