TP ICAP plc, an interdealer broker, announced this Tuesday that it had appointed a new non-executive Director, with Angela Crawford-Ingle taking on the role, effective from the 16th of March 2020.
In addition to being a Director, Crawford-Ingle has also been appointed as a member of the Company’s Audit, Risk, and Nominations and Governance Committees, which she will commence in March of this year as well.
Experience before TP ICAP
Crawford-Ingle is a chartered accountant and brings more than three decades worth of experience to the role. The bulk of her career was spent at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was a partner specializing in Financial Services for 30 years.
In addition to her time at PwC, Crawford-Ingle is also currently a Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Lloyds of London. At River and Mercantile Group plc, an advisory and asset management firm, she is a Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Audit Committee. Furthermore, she is presently the Chair of the Audit Committee at Openwork Limited, a financial advice network.
Commenting on Crawford-Ingle’s appointment, Richard Berliand, Chairman of TP ICAP plc, said in the statement released today: “We are very pleased to welcome Angela to the Board of the Company. She brings substantial experience, both from her executive career, as well as from her directorship roles, and will be a great addition to our Board.”
During her extensive career in the financial industry, Crawford-Ingle has held Non-executive Director roles at Beazley plc and Swinton Group Limited. At Beazley, she was Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, and at the latter, held the position of Senior Independent Director and chaired the Audit and Risk Committees.
In addition to her career qualifications, according to her LinkedIn profile, Crawford-Ingle studied at the University of Bristol, where she earnt a Bachelor of Science, Physics, graduating in 1974.
