Tiny Capital’s Wilkinson displays interest in Bitcoin. Andrew Wilkinson, a multi-millionaire co-founder of the tech-focused holding company Tiny Capital, set off a minor fire-storm on Twitter Saturday simply by inquiring about bitcoin.
Wilkinson’s query began with a flood of Twitter replies, many trying to persuade Wilkinson that bitcoin is the future of finance and a better version of gold. On Monday, Wilkinson’s company WeCommerce Holdings Ltd., which begins and invests in the Shopify Platform, will list its shares on the TSX Venture Exchange. Bill Ackman is also a WeCommerce investor.
