SteelSeries has partnered with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team, the competitive gaming arm of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Under the terms of the deal, SteelSeries becomes the exclusive peripherals supplier of the team. SteelSeries and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team will also work together on “product testing, digital events, brand activations, and other marketing initiatives,” according to a release.
SteelSeries also said that it will create limited-edition mice, keyboards, and headsets designed specifically for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team.
