Sportradar is exclusive betting data provider for MGM-GVC Interactive in United States.
Switzerland-based sports data firm Sportradar has signed a deal to become the exclusive betting data provider for the MGM-GVC Interactive venture in the United States.
The firm, which has official data agreements or partnerships with several major US leagues, including the NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB and NASCAR, will provide data for a range of pre-match and live betting services, in addition to extra bet stimulation content like live match trackers.
In July, MGM, which has recently entered into official sports betting partnerships with both the NHL and NBA, teamed up with GVC (owner of Ladbrokes), to launch MGM GVC Interactive, with the aim of stealing a lead in the growing US sports betting market.
Vice-president of gaming sales at Sportradar, Neale Deeley said:
“We have been preparing for the opening of the US market for some time now with an across the board ramp up of our US sports betting offering and we are delighted with this endorsement from MGM and GVC that all the hard work is delivering what world class betting operators are looking for.”
While CEO of MGM GVC Interactive, Adam Greenblatt, commented:
