Social online game developer diwip has announced that it has invested more than $2 million in Slots Club, a new release in the company’s product line.
Slots Club, currently available for download as a beta version on Facebook, offers players a choice of themed video slot machines featuring 40 paying lines, bonus rounds, free spins and numerous social features.
Slots Club also features a ‘Member’s Bonus’ which rewards each player with a percentage of winnings from another active player in the game. Other social features include sending free gifts and coins.
“We wanted a more beautiful, interesting, and rewarding game than what’s on the market,” diwip founder and CPO Udi Kantzuker said.
“From the research we conducted, we incorporated special features to keep the player surprised, engaged, and coming back for more and adding more friends.”
A Unity development team has also been established to work exclusively for the development of a mobile version of Slots Club.
“Our past experience in mobile development led us to switch to the Unity engine,” Kantzuker added. “Native code didn’t give us the rich graphics we wanted and Flash Air SDK gave us really poor quality user experience. Unity is just the perfect solution us with Slots Club. It makes development so easy and produces crazy good graphics.”
