Eric Schiermeyer, co-founder of social gaming firm Zynga, has linked up with gaming company Bee Cave Games.
According to a report from the Austin Business Journal, Schiermeyer has invested in Bee Cave Games and is acting as an adviser to the company.
Bee Cave Games, which launched last year, stated last week that it had developed a Facebook game called Blackjack Casino after bringing in nine people to work on the product earlier this year.
Earlier this week it was confirmed that Microsoft executive Don Mattrick would be replacing Schiermeyer’s former colleague and fellow Zynga co-founder Mark Pincus as Chief Executive Officer for the company.
Zynga has struggled in recent months following a flotation in December of 2011.
