SBTech Appoints Hammond As New Chief Operating Officer

Sports betting and gaming tech supplier SBTech has appointed Dave Hammond as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

At SBTech, he will manage the sports betting and technology provider’s global activities, focusing on operations and delivery as the firm expands in both existing and new regulated markets. He will also be involved with the technology, research and development, operations and business analytics teams.

Hammond brings with him 25 years of gaming industry experience, having worked at firms including Inspired Gaming and Paddy Power Betfair – where he directed commercial operations and innovation. He was also responsible for commercial negotiations and World Lottery Association operators, and was a driving force in the digital transformation of the world’s oldest horse racing data analytics company, Timeform.

During his 20 years at Inspired Gaming, he drove innovation and global growth, delivering more than £1 billion in annual revenue for partners like William Hill and Coral. He was also responsible for creating an online gaming vertical, which involved providing solutions to Bet365 and others.

While new COO at SBTech Dave Hammond, himself added:
