Ripple to appoint director of engineering for RippleX platform. The firm shared a job posting seeking for an engineer to expand the infrastructure that supports technologies such as XRPL as well as other developer tools and services.
The role would involved shipping products that make it easier for its developers to actualize the future of the “Internet of Value,” which is a concept proposed by Ripple where value is transferred as easily as data.
In a bid to expand its services, on January 15, Ripple secured a deal with Mobile Money, a Malaysian money transfer business and Bangladesh’s largest mobile financial services provider bKash. The deal will see Mobile Money and bKash leveraging on Ripple’s global paymens network RippleNet for wallet-to-wallet transactions.
