Blockchain-based radical fan engagement platform Socios.com reveals first TV commercial, featuring Juventus FC, ahead of app launch.

Socios.com has revelled its first TV commercial, featuring Juventus FC, ahead of the launch of the Socios app this summer.

Malta-based Socios is a trailblazer in radical fan engagement, giving fans the chance to influence their favourite sports teams through token-based voting rights.

A blockchain-based platform, Socios.com is fuelled by the Chiliz ($CHZ) digital currency. Teams that join the platform are allocated a supply of Fan Tokens, which can then be hunted, won, or bought by fans, giving them voting rights – the more Fan Tokens someone has, the more influence they have.

Teams will offer a mix of both non-binding and binding polls for fans to vote on, giving people the unprecedented ability to genuinely affect the future of the clubs they support.

Fan Tokens will also give member access to rewards, merchandise, experiences, leaderboards and games – further driving engagement.

In addition to Juventus, Socios has also signed up Paris Saint-Germain and West Ham United.
