Online gambling player protection software developer Playscan has entered into a partnership with the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) in an effort to help protect players in North America.
Under the partnership, players in the market will receive North America-specific responsible gambling information directly from the Playscan system.
The localised information about problematic gambling will be available to players in both the online and land-based markets. Players will also have direct access to national helpline phone numbers.
“As gaming operators in the US move forward with launching their online gaming channels, it is vitally important to ensure that the player population is fully informed about the risks associated with gambling,” Playscan said.
