Overwatch League Pro Rawkus Retires To Pursue VALORANT

Overwatch League pro Rawkus retires to pursue Valorant. Winner of the World Cup overwatch and veteran of the Overwatch League Shane “Rawkus” Flaherty retired from Overwatch to seek a career at VALORANT.

Rawkus discussed his decision via Twitlonger, sharing some of his favorite memories of Overwatch, thanking several people throughout his career, and then addressing what’s next for him.

“I grew up playing fps games like CSGO and Valorant hit me differently,” Rawkus said in the post. “When I realized how it had a similar style of CSGO aiming mixed in with ability usage, I instantly felt comfortable.”
