Esports live-odds provider Oddin has joined the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) in a bid to help combat corruption and match-fixing within the esports betting domain.
As a result of the announcement, Oddin has become an anti-corruption supporter for ESIC. This means the provider will assist ESIC when investigating suspicious betting activity, whilst also supporting the commission’s larger goal to combat cheating and betting fraud in the esports industry.
Ian Smith, ESIC Commissioner, spoke on the announcement in a release: ‘’We are happy to welcome Oddin into our global anti-fraud network. It is very important for us that key esports betting provider such as Oddin becomes a member. They will help us fight match-fixing practices over the multiple jurisdictions they operate in. We look forward to having long-term cooperation with them.’’
Oddin is a Czech Republic-based B2B provider of esports odds feed, risk management and iFrame solutions. According to a release, the company focuses on delivering an ‘engaging esports experience with industry-leading uptime and number of live markets’ by leveraging advanced technologies, data science and machine learning algorithms.

ESIC’s roster of anti-corruption supporters features a growing number of well-known esports bookmakers. This includes Cyber.Bet, Midnite, Parimatch, Betway, Rivalry, Sky Bet and Unikrn, among others.
