New Siberian Data Center To Provide 100 Jobs To Locals

New Siberian data center to provide 100 jobs to locals. A decree authorising the construction of a 13.6 acre data centre in Southeastern Siberia has been signed by the Governor of the Republic of Buryatia, Russia. A variety of hi-tech operations, including a Bitcoin ( BTC) mining operation, will be hosted by the facility.

BitRiver will develop the facility and it is estimated that it will create up to 100 local jobs. It will be fitted with ASIC miners from the latest generation and will take around a year to complete. In addition to the mining of cryptocurrencies, Big Data and the Internet of Things can use the facility. The needed investment, to be supported by investors from the U.S.A., China , and Japan, is estimated at 691 million rubles, or $0.9 million.
