Online slot developer NetEnt has signed a deal with New Jersey gaming operator Churchill Downs.
Gaming development company NetEnt has entered signed a deal with New Jersey gaming operator Churchill Downs.
Churchill Downs is currently the largest onshore online betting operator for horse racing in the United States, and the deal will see it offer NetEnt’s online casino games to the regulated New Jersey market.
Erik Nyman, Managing Director NetEnt Americas LLC, commented:
“We are excited to start delivering our popular game titles to Churchill Downs, probably most known for its iconic flagship horse-racing event, the Kentucky Derby. With our thrilling game titles, I am confident that we will be an important contributor to growth in online casino for Churchill Downs.”
Whilst Ian Williams, President, Churchill Downs Interactive, said:
“There is no doubt NetEnt games have proven to be player favorites in every market they have been deployed. We are looking forward to adding hit titles Jumanji, Starburst and Gonzo’s Quest to offer the best possible experience to our players”
According to plans made public back in May, Churchill Downs intends to launch online sports betting and casino gaming in New Jersey during Q1 of 2019, and has selected SBTech as its platform provider.
Churchill Downs Incorporated began life as the company behind the famous Thoroughbred racetrack that hosts the Kentucky Derby in Louisville, and has since evolved into a multi-state, publicly traded company with racetracks, casinos, and now online gambling.
