NagaCorp given permission to resume all casino operations at Nagaworld. NagaCorp Ltd has been given permission by the Cambodian Ministry of Health to restart all casino operations at NagaWorld.
NagaWorld, the only legal casino within 200 kilometers of Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital city, had previously resumed limited VIP and slot machine operations on July 8 after Prime Minister Hun Sen eased the country’s COVID-19 restrictions.
The reopening of any casino in Cambodia requires each operator to meet certain COVID-19 safety measures as approved by the Ministry of Health and to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
After signing an initial MoU granting permission on 30 June to reopen VIPs and slots, NagaCorp announced on Sunday that the Ministry of Health has now annexed the MoU to further clarify that, in accordance with the Letter, the MOH has no objection to the Group’s reopening of all its casino businesses in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
