Online betting service provider MyClubBetting.com, powered by The Betting Service, has agreed a deal to become the official betting and gaming partner of the Rugby League World Cup 2013 national team tournament.
The partnership was agreed through a commercial deal with TBS.
The MyClubBetting.com tailored service provides clubs of all levels with a fully customised betting website free of charge.
Each website features club colours, logos and social media links to integrate with existing websites.
The TBS service allows clubs to gain a share of any profit made, as well as marketing materials to spread the word about the betting platform.
“TBS, through the brand MyClubBetting.com, aims to help promote grassroots rugby by facilitating any club with a potential revenue stream at zero cost,” TBS’ chief executive officer, Marcus Barrett, said.
“We are proud to be part of the development of a rapidly growing sport, and dovetailing with such a dynamic and well-respected international organisation makes perfect sense for us.”
Sally Bolton, general manager of the Rugby League World Cup 2013, added: “The Betting Service’s innovative product is exciting and offers opportunities to clubs throughout the rugby league pyramid.
“That our sport’s clubs could benefit from the service provided makes this a fantastic partnership for Rugby League World Cup 2013, and it is pleasing to bring yet another new brand to the sport through this year’s global sporting event.”
