In order to help create more opportunities in South East Asia, MSI has announced the launch of the MGA Collegiate program. The program, which covers Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia, looks to provide opportunities for collegiate esports fans to compete in Riot Games’ first-person hero shooter, Valorant.
From July to November 2021, the MGA Collegiate program will work with ESL Gaming, TheGaming Company, One Up esports, Riot Games, and VNG.
With MGA as the overall facilitator of the events, each country’s esports program will be independent in order to best serve the player base. According to MSI, the program will last two seasons and adhere as closely to local school schedules as possible.
