Scandinavian online casino operator Mr Green has agreed a deal that will see it utilise the real-time customer identification solution from credentials management firm Jumio Incorporated.
Mr Green is the operator behind the Malta-licensed online casino at MrGreen.com and revealed that players will now be able to use the Netverify service from Jumio in order to verify their identity and age.
“Mr Green is one of the latest companies to bring our technology into play to use compliance as a differentiator,” said Bjorn Evers from Jumio, which is based in the San Francisco suburb of Palo Alto.
“By using Jumio, iGaming operators can not only meet know-your-customer compliance requirements but also improve the customer experience.”
Mr Green stated that the Netverify innovation allows players to scan their identification documents using a camera connected to their desktop or mobile device. These credentials are then checked and verified by the California firm’s software in order to ensure customers are who they say they are and meet minimum age requirements.
