The Brazilian Counter-Strike Circuit (CBCS) announced Friday that it is now being sponsored by Monster Energy energy drink. The brand will appear in the competition’s official broadcasts, being also featured in a special offering block, sign the award for the season MVP, which will now be named “MonsterVP,” and also be part of an audiovisual production named “Unleash the Beast.”
Monster Energy joins Lenovo, the betting website Rivalry, and the crypto exchange company Mercado Bitcoin as CBCS sponsors.
CBCS is currently the main Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition in Brazil, having splits that count for the official Regional Major Rankings (RMR). It is produced by LnK Gaming, a joint company formed by the union of Globo and events promoter DC Set, in partnership with Gamers Club, the entertainment group Omelete, and the streamer Alexandre “Gaules” Borba.
