Microsoft Withdraws 12-Month Xbox Live Subscriptions

Microsoft withdraws 12-month Xbox Live subscriptions. Microsoft has chosen to withdraw 12-month Xbox Live subscriptions from sale in its Microsoft stores.

Although the codes are still available from third-party retailers elsewhere, the opportunity to buy a 12-month subscription plan – which provided players the best value – has been digitally de-listed without notice, leading some to believe that it was mistaken.

While the company wouldn’t be drawn on why the subscription had been withdrawn, a Microsoft spokesperson shared “At this time, Xbox has decided to remove the 12 months Xbox Live Gold SKU from the Microsoft online Store. Customers can still sign up for a one month or three month Xbox Live Gold subscription online through the Microsoft Store.”
