JPMorgan’s executive shuffle continues, with the bank opening up a key vacancy – its Chief Currency Trader in London, Richard Usher has reportedly parted ways with the bank, amidst a yearlong suspension.
JPMorgan recently revamped its FX team, appointing some new faces in its FX Sales team in Europe. Mr. Usher was the Head of Spot G10 Currency trading, based out of London. He had been suspended since October last year, though the bank never associated this suspension with a lingering FX probe alleging manipulation.
Following the move, it is unclear where Mr. Usher’s next destination will be, or on what terms he left JPMorgan with. As of October 6, Mr. Usher was listed as inactive on the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) register of approved individuals.
