HSBC has reshuffled its FX personnel department, recruiting ex-BNP Paribas executive Andy DePhillips as its newest director of foreign exchange institutional sales.
In his new role as the director of foreign exchange institutional sales, DePhillips will be based out of New York. He joins HSBC after working two years at BNP Paribas in a similar role, whilst also spending a decade at Credit Suisse in a senior level position.
HSBC has been particularly active lately in terms of personnel moves, including the departure of its head of currency trading, Stuart Scott, earlier this week.
