Online payment processor Skrill has appointed Joe Hall as its new Vice-President for the US market.
Hall, who joined Skrill in January 2011, will be responsible for sales, account management, end-customer acquisition and referral business development for Skrill in the US. His most recent role at Skrill was as vice-president of leisure and entertainment.
“I’m delighted to be the new vice-president of Skrill USA,” Hall said. “It was a pleasure working with everyone in London, Berlin and Sofia over the past three years.”
Last month it was announced that Bahrain-based investment vehicle Investcorp had agreed to sell Skrill for €600m (US$800m) to private equity group CVC Capital Partners.
CVC senior Managing Director Peter Rutland said that the transaction would help to support Skrill’s international expansion plans.
