London-based esports organization Guild Esports has secured a two-year partnership with gaming peripherals brand HyperX. HyperX will provide gaming hardware to the organization, and will be displayed on player streams and through social activations.
According to a release, “Guild will receive 75% of the consideration in equal amounts over two years in cash. The balance of the 25% contract value will be satisfied in kind with gaming hardware for Guild’s pro-players, content creators and academy students and to fit out the Company’s headquarters in London.”
Last October, Guild raised roughly $26M USD during an initial public offering. The company received significant attention due to a minority investment from soccer star David Beckham. Guild currently competes in Rocket League, Valorant, Fortnite, and FIFA.
