Land-based casino operator Golden Nugget has appointed Warren Steven as online product director for New Jersey following the news that is has been granted an internet gambling licence in the US state.
Steven will make the move from operator Betclic Everest, where he most recently served as gaming director for two years.
He also spent nearly three years as the operator’s head of casino and games.
Steven also held the position of commercial manager, casino and games at Irish bookmaker Paddy Power for nearly one year prior to joining Betclic.
Steven will become the second former Betclic executive to join the Golden Nugget iGaming team following the appointment of Thomas Winter as vice-president of online gaming last month.
Winter previously served as Betclic Expekt’s chief executive officer before opting to move to the New Jersey casino’s online gaming team.
